There will be some new Disney dining options in Walt Disney World soon. Disney is always keeping things fresh and new. Magic Kingdom hit the jackpot with Be Our Guest. It is time for some fresh Disney dining options at the other Walt Disney World theme parks. In true Disney tradition they are adding fun to something already there and building something brand new.
Disney Dining at Epcot~ The Spice Table
Disney has a new restaurant opening early in 2014 in Epcot. Morocco will be home to The Spice Table. This will be another waterfront Disney dining option for Epcot. The Spice Table was inspired by the open air cafes in the Mediterranean. The building will have a white washed look accentuated by a slight icy blue from the famous “Blue City” of Chefchaouen in Morocco’s Rif Mountains. There will be little shops in the marketplace area. These will include the popular henna artist. The restaurant itself will have 120 outdoor terrace seats. The seating inside will be very intimate with only room for 60 in cozy booths. The restaurant décor is inspired by Morocco’s indigenous Berber tribes. As wonderful as the theme is, just wait until you taste the food! It sounds like Disney dining has really outdone themselves. This cozy spot will feature small plates and specialty drinks. The view of Illuminations will be perfect.
Disney Dining ~ New Characters at Hollywood and Vine!
Hollywood and Vine is one of my favorite restaurants in Hollywood Studios. It features a delicious buffet. If you dine there for breakfast or lunch you will meet some fun characters. In fact for the last eight years Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine has been entertaining guests. The Disney dining experience is always updated with new characters. Guess who is joining the Disney Junior Play’n Dine group? Starting on January 26,2014 Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins will be joining in the fun! You can expect an uplifting Disney dining experience with lots of dancing. Dancing is always fun!
